NCU is guided by three
philosophical principles:
Education is a lifelong process and must be relevant to the
student's aspiration Education should be affordable and
offered, as much as possible, at the student's convenience
Opportunity to learn should be open to anyone with the
desire to achieve.
Students at NCU are aware of these three principles from the
moment that they first start researching the University. As
a student of NCU you can expect to find schedules and
delivery formats to meet your needs. You can expect to
experience application based classes taught by faculty that
are professionals in the fields in which they teach. You can
contact an advisor to help you by phone, e-mail or in
person. The goal of NCU is to help you succeed.
Flexible
Scheduling
NCU classes are held in a variety of formats including
evenings, day, weekends and distance learning. A student can
register for the time and day that best meets their needs
for the quarter.
Students can choose to attend any NCU location. In most
programs, students can choose to take all classes in one
location as well as one class in one location and a
different class at another location if that better meets
their needs.
If students cannot or do not choose to come to class in
person, a distance learning format is available that offers
more flexibility. Almost every program offered by NCU is
available in a phone/mail based format. Courses start at the
beginning of every month with almost every course available
every month.

tailored to the specific needs of students. We also serves
as a resource to the campus and community, providing current
information on issues and concerns of foreign students..
Relevant Programs
NCU prides itself on its students being able
to take what they learn in class and immediately apply it to
their work or life. The real world focus is achieved by
utilizing professionals to teach NCU courses. Our
instructors are not only academically qualified, but also
have experience in the fields in which they teach. For
students, this means the opportunity to have theory placed
in a real world context.
NCU is adding new programs all the time. The University uses
advisory boards to evaluate the trends in business,
education and counseling to keep its programs current and
applicable. As a result, new specialty areas and/or courses
are developed to help our students meet their needs and job
requirements. Additionally, NCU also has professional
continuing education to fulfill students' needs.
